Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce holds recognition gala
Members of the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce will be marking their calendars for the Chamber of Commerce’s annual Awards and Recognition Gala coming toward the end of January. It’s a black-tie affair but business attire will be acceptable. Masks will be welcome.
The occasion will be an evening to celebrate and recognize those individuals and businesses that have made outstanding achievements in our business community over the past year.
Nominees for Business of the Year include Westgate Dental Care, Imagineering Studios, Inc., Corner Bakery and Arlington International Racecourse. Those businesses nominated for the Emerging Business of the Year are Sweet T’s Bakery and Cake Studio, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Marc Poulos Painting and d’aprile Properties. Non-Profit Organization of the Year will go to Saint Viator High School, Special Leisure Services Foundation/NWRA, Live4ali, Inc. or Community Threads.
Business Leader of the Year candidates are Greg Padovani from PENS Communications Systems, LLC, Pure Salon, Inc.’sDawn Wu, Meet Chicago Northwest’s Dave Parulo and Colin Gilbert of Drost, Gilbert, Andrew, Apicella/Tuscan Market & Wine Shop. Mike Clements, Susan Holmbraker and John Corbett, Jim Bertucci and David Jaffe are up for Business Volunteer of the Year.
After a reception and dinner, Board Chairman, Mike Driskell and Jason Miller, the newly elected 2018 Chairman of the Board, will be reminiscing about the successes of 2017.
The event will take place January 26th from 6:30 pm until 11:30 at the Arlington International Racecourse, 2000 West Euclid Avenue, Arlington-Heights.
