OPERA America and OperaDelaware are hosting their annual conference in Wilmington this spring.
Opera Conference 2026 will offer a variety of events for attendees in the performing arts field. It will include plenary presentation sessions, working sessions and networking activities. Networking sessions will include multiple receptions and dinners for those working in specific professional areas. Conference attendees often exchange Business Cards at this type of networking event.
The three plenary sessions will discuss big-picture industry topics like increasing audience retention and reducing production costs. These will all include practical information like case studies and real-world examples. Other session types will include roundtable discussions, working groups, pitch sessions for new works and presentations given by a small selection of attendees. Opera performances will also be taking place in the evenings.
Registration is open now. Ticket prices vary depending on the attendee's role in the opera industry. The fee for administrative staff is $725 and the fee for artists is $205.
