Spotlight Delaware is hosting its second annual Our Delaware Cultural Festival this November.
The festival brings together many of Delaware’s cultural clubs and associations to offer food, activities and entertainment from around the world in one place. Music, dance and other performances will take place throughout the afternoon. Food truck options will include street food from Mojo Loco 302, chicken from Mitch’s Mo’Better Chicken, and lattes with Caribbean-inspired syrups from Tia Erika’s Cafe.
A heritage fair section will feature 15 different organizations, including the Delaware Korean Association, the Indo-American Association of Delaware, the Irish Culture Club of Delaware, and the Lenape Indian Tribe. Attendees will be able to meet with representatives to learn more about these cultures. Representatives of organizations often give out Promotional Products at this type of public event.
Admission is $10 for adults and free for kids 12 and younger. Activities for kids, including face painting, henna, and a balloon artist, are also free. Those planning to attend can purchase tickets and reserve spots for kids through Eventbrite. Attendees are welcome to leave and re-enter the event. Sponsorships are available at a wide range of price points, and details about packages are listed on Spotlight Delaware’s website.
The Our Delaware Cultural Festival will be on Sunday, November 15, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, at Arsht Hall in Wilmington.
