Wilmington Chamber to discuss growth and innovation

The Wilmington-based Delaware State Chamber of Commerce is having a half-day conference about the state’s economic outlook this October.

The morning will begin with a half-hour for registration and networking. Chamber of Commerce members often exchange Business Cards during the networking portions of this type of event. The formal program will start at 9:00 am with a welcome from Chamber President Mike Quaranta, followed by the keynote address. Ron Starner of Conway, Inc. & Site Selection magazine will discuss whether Delaware is taking steps to retain its workplace talent.

After the keynote, there will be two panel discussions and a lightning round conversation about the state of housing in each of Delaware’s three counties. The panels will discuss energy and investing in statewide economic growth. After the panel sessions, a buffet lunch will be served, followed by a closing keynote and fireside chat focused on economic development.

Registration is open on the Chamber’s website now for $75 per member and $100 per non-member. Sponsorship packages ranging from $500 to $5000 and ads in the event program are also available. Businesses can contact the Chamber to discuss details or register directly on the event page.
