Wilmington is hosting its 21st Annual City Restaurant Week this April.
During Restaurant Week, participating businesses will offer meals at one of three fixed prices. These are $20 for lunch and $35 or $55 for dinner, plus tips. Restaurants often use printing services to create special Menus for this type of event. Wilmington’s fine dining scene is largely owner-operated, and these restaurateurs enjoy Restaurant Week as an opportunity to welcome new guests to their businesses. Participating restaurants serve a wide variety of cuisines, including French, Mexican, seafood, and steak.
Those planning to dine out during restaurant week can RSVP to the Facebook event. Most participating restaurants are accepting reservations online. Restaurant week is a popular event, so reservations are highly encouraged. A list of participating restaurants and links to their prix fixe menus are available on the Out & About Greater Wilmington website.
There will be a progressive dinner on Tuesday, April 14, which will let participants visit three different restaurants for appetizers, main meals, and desserts. More details about this event will be posted online soon. Attendees can enter a drawing to win a $50 gift card to one of the participating restaurants. They can submit one photo per restaurant visited. Six winners will receive gift cards.
Wilmington City Restaurant Week will run from Monday, April 13, to Sunday, April 19.
