Wilmington’s the Queen has scheduled eight concerts for this month.
R&B songwriter and vocalist Aziza Nailah, with her show Aziza Nailah - Live at the Queen, will begin the new year this Saturday, January 8 at 8:00 pm at the Crown Room.
Blues singer Vanessa Collier will perform on Thursday, January 13, beginning at 7:00 pm, also at the Crown Room.
Main Hall will have High Noon, a rock group, on Saturday, January 15 starting at 8:00 pm. Also performing that night but at the Crown Room will be another rock artist, Christine Havrilla, who will be on stage at 8:00 pm.
The Crown Room will present a supper club on Saturday, January 22. A three-course dinner will be served at 5:00 pm and the show, featuring the Dennis Fortune Trio, will begin at 7:30 pm.
Buckcherry & the Lacs, a country band, will be in the Main Hall on Thursday, January 27 with the performance starting at 8:00 pm.
Johnny Cash fans will be interested in the upcoming Cash Unchained: The Ultimate Johnny Cash Experience, coming Friday, January 28, also in the Main Hall.
Rounding off the month will be the rock group Jawn of the Dead, who will take to the stage Saturday, January 29 at 8:00 pm in the Crown Room.
