Two early November events will be addressing homelessness in Wilmington
Terrie M Williams Expansion, Inc. will be presenting its First Annual “When I Think of Home” gala in early November. The organization is dedicated to helping local homeless people by providing housing assistance and advocacy, and hopes to add significant funds raised at its gala to reach its goal of its $75,000. Since March, the organization has aided more than 200 families with food, utilities, motel stays, and school supplies. It also provides workshops such as estate planning and finances.
General admission will be $85, and sponsorships are available at the $150 Bronze, $750 Silver, $1,000 gold, and $1,500 Platinum levels.
The 1st Annual “When I Think of Home” fundraiser is next Saturday, November 5, beginning at 3:00 pm at Ed Oliver Golf Club, 800 N DuPont Road.
On Thursday, November 10, beginning at 6:00 pm, The Armory Restaurant at 200 Front Street in Perth Amboy will have the Raritan Bay Area YMCA hosting its 6th Annual Ending Homelessness Fundraiser. Tickets for that event will be $45.
Raritan Bay Area YMCA and community partners are striving to eliminate family homelessness in Middlesex County by December 2024.
Concerned local individuals, families, and philanthropic organizations occasionally go the extra mile and consult flyer printing companies to get the information about these fundraisers out to their communities.
