During the game on November 22 against Ramapo College, Eastern Connecticut State University guard Tarchee Brown scored 19 out of the 20 baskets made for his team, and broke two school records by scoring 10 field goals for three points, and 44 other points.
The Warriors won 96-71 at the Ramapo College Roadrunner Tip-Off Tournament game in MahWah, NJ at the Bradley Center. Brown missed his free throw in the fourth period, but made two assists, converted three rebounds, blocked two shots, and stole twice within 33 minutes of the game.
Brown, a graduate of Rockville High School in Vernon, is a sophomore at Eastern Connecticut State University, is rated by some as the best men’s basketball player since the college's team formed 75 years ago.
The old record of most points scored by a single person in one game was 42 points, set by Frank Johndrow almost 60 years ago. The record for three point field goals was held by Kris Johnson, and stood at nine. If Brown wants to break the NCAA III consecutive field goal record for one game, he will have to make 11, so one more than his record.
