Have Fun Being Single, a Meetup group whose membership spans Vernon and the wider Hartford area, is going bowling in the new year.
Members will meet at Revolution Bowling and Lounge in South Windsor, located at 60 Bidwell Road. Every level of bowler is invited, or participants can just socialize while others play. Masks are required at all times inside the building, except when bowling.
Revolutions Bowling is allowing the group to play and rent shoes for $5.50 per person per game. Since lanes need to be reserved in advance, it is important for potential participants to respond quickly if going.
Afterwards, the group will head to Lena's Italian restaurant in South Windsor, which is located at 655 John Fitch Boulevard. Individuals will be responsible for their own bill.

Have Fun Being Single will meet on Saturday, January 16, and everyone is asked to arrive by 4:45 pm. Organizer Janssen will be close to front desk wearing khakis and a red golf shirt. The first game is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
