Arts Center East in Vernon will present its yearly fair for artisan craft to prepare for the holidays.
The fair takes place over two weeks at the center, which is at 709 Hartford Turnpike. Artists from the community and region sell their wares at this popular event to provide customers both decorations and gifts for the season.
Some of the items for sale include art pieces, hygiene and beauty products, clothing, interior decor, and jewelry. Many items will have a holiday, autumn, or winter theme. Everything sold at the fair is made by hand. Most items should be under $50, with $100 set as the maximum.
Vendors can still download an application to sell products, and have until October 18 to submit it. Items to be sold can be dropped off November 7 to 11 at various times. Vendors must make an appointment to drop off the items so as to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Times are first come, first served, and artists can email Arts Center East to choose a day and hour to bring by their items.
On November 12, 13, 19, and 20, the fair will be open from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Fair hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on November 14 and 21, while November 15 and 22 hours are 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Artists use printing services to make prints of their more popular works of art so they can sell it to multiple people.
