The Superintendent of Schools for the city of Vernon will be Joseph Macary.
The new man at the helm has been educating youth in the state for 19 years as teacher, director of student services, athletic director, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. During the last decade, he has worked in Wolcott, which it is hoped will help both school districts work together in the future and create a better communal atmosphere.
According to a Patch.com article, The Board of Education chose Macary because he is a good fit for Vernon and they believe he will be able fulfill its needs. His colleagues state that he is approachable, friendly, active in the school environment, and unafraid to get his hands dirty for the sake of students. Staff and students fulfill his elevated standards with his coaching and motivating attitude.
With a BA degree from the University of Connecticut in Economics and Political Science, Macary went on to attend Quinnipiac College and earn his Master’s in Education. He is back at the University of Connecticut working toward his PhD in Educational Leadership.
Having a new superintendent means updating the school system's official Stationery. Stationery printers often work closely with the schools in their region and, since they often Print items in bulk, they can send them out to all the schools in the district for them.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Stationery
