Vernon based Emcor Services New England Mechanical (NEMSI) has been recognized by The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Connecticut for three achievements.
The company has two decades of constant participation in the organization, was honored as the 2014 Specialty Contractor of the Year, and was given the Excellence in Construction Award for its work at Kent School.
The Emcor Group-owned company has been active in Connecticut ABC meetings, committees, and attending events. It was responsible for mechanical services as a subcontractor during the renovation of the Music and Mattison Auditorium at Kent School, which provided a recording studio and an area for theatrical events, along with upgrading rooms for practice of the arts.
Finally, CT ABC praised the company for its core values and belief in training employees throughout its history, and using merit-based incentives in the workplace. NEMSI president and CEO Dana Finnegan expressed gratitude for the recognition, add that the company will continue to participate in CT ABC's activities to advocate and educate in the construction community.
