On May 4, the Hockanum Brew Fest will take place in Rockville, Vernon.
This is the second year of the outdoor event where guests can taste craft beers from 1pm until 4pm. The event will span from the New England Motorcycle Museum and the Hockanum River. Rain will not affect the festival.
More than 30 vendors of beer, wine, and spirits as well as community and business displays, food trucks and live entertainment are set to attend this year. Guests will have a chance to add to their admission entry into the motorcycle museum, which features historic items in motorcycle history.
The town will close off a section of West Main Street so there is a safe path for guests to walk. Under the shade of trees near the river will be a beer garden. There will also be a parking shuttle and safe ride options available. There are 1,800 tickets total. Until April 15, tickets are $30. Afterward, they will be $40.
The Rockville Community Alliance, a citizen volunteer organization, manages the brew festival and many other events in the area such as National Night Out, July In The Sky, and Winterfest. Helping to promote the event are the Chamber of Commerce for Tolland County and The Downtown Association of Rockville.
Many of the businesses and organization at the festival use Flyers and Business Cards to promote themselves.
