Norwalk welcomes arts festival
Norwalk will be treated to the 2025 Norwalk Arts Festival coming for two days in mid-June.
Presented by the Norwalk Parks Department, Mathews Mansion Museum, Norwalk Art Center and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, the festival will feature more than 100 juried arts and crafts artists displaying original pieces, selling and vying for the $1000 prize money. Attendees may look forward to enjoying ceramics, jewelry, paintings, photography, mixed media, fiber, printmaking. glass and metal sculpture.
Performance artists will be roving around the museum lawn. The Children's Art Workshop area will have free hands-on art experiences for the children thanks to Norwalk Arts Commission and Jerry's Artarama, and a community mural project will provide all the supplies needed for all ages to create the masterpiece.
Jerry Johnson will once again be emceeing the Poet's Stage all weekend, and an international food court will offer a variety of food options.
Single vendor booth fees are $1100; corner booths are $1200, and double booths are $2200. Non-profit booths will have exhibits and activities. Booth fees for them will be $395 for individual booths, $495 for a corner booth and $695 for a double booth.
Organizations that man booths at events like this often have custom business cards printed at nearby print shops.
