The Norwalk Cove Marina on Calf Pasture Beach Road will be the location for the Discover Boating Norwalk Boat Show later this month.
This is being held in collaboration with Progressive Insurance. Toyota, BMW, Leaf Filter, and NMMA Certified are the official sponsors of the show.
The four-day event will feature demonstrations of paddle sports and free boat rides, complimentary Boating 101 tours, the new interactive education center at Captain’s Cove with professionals from the Annapolis School of Seamanship and Fred’s Shed, activities for kids, and an expanded Engine Alley for exploring the latest in engine technology. There will also be “docktails” to sip on, food trucks, and fun for the entire family.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, this is one of the favorite outdoor fall events in Fairfield County. Such events often rely on poster printing for promoting themselves throughout a city and neighboring communities.
The price of tickets is $20 for adults, $10 for children between the ages of 13 and 17, while children 12 years of age younger are free. There is no charge for those who are members of the United States Coast Guard, active and retired first responders, and active military members and veterans.
This event will be from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24 through Saturday, September 26, and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27.
