What's Happening in Norwalk, CT…

Norwalk to host two egg hunts

The city of Norwalk will soon be putting on a weeklong egg search called the ‘Egg-Normous Egg Hunt’ along with the annual one-day Egg-Stravagant Egg Hunt, which will be specifically for the children. Both events will be free and limited to Norwalk residents only.

The Egg-normous Egg Hunt will run during the week before Easter. Eggs will be hidden throughout the city. Those who are lucky enough to find one can take it to the information booth and receive their prize. The recipients must prove they are residents by showing I.D. at the time they pick up their award.

The children’s Egg-stravagant egg hunt will be at the end of the same week, and will be divided into four hunts. The first hunt will be for the Tiny Tots ages eighteen months to three years. The second hunt will be for the Funny Bunnies (ages four to five), the Egg Heads (ages six to seven) will hunt next, and the Wacky Wabbits (eight to ten year olds) will have their hunt last.

Pictures taken with the Easter Bunny might make interesting Easter holiday cards for next year.

The Egg-normous Egg Hunt will run the week of March 20. Prizes for this event can only be redeemed at 12:00 pm on March 26.

The Egg-stravagant Egg Hunt will be Saturday, March 26 from 12:30 pm until 3:30 pm on the Norwalk Civic Center Lawn, 12700 Norwalk Boulevard, Norwalk.
