Norwalk holds annual arts festival
The Norwalk Art Festival will be returning to Norwalk toward the end of June.
The two-day event hosted by Norwalk Art Center, Center for Contemporary Printmaking, The Norwalk Parks Department and Mathews Mansion Museum will feature more than 75 juried fine arts and crafts artists from here in our area to those from around the country. Media will range from glass, metal sculpture, fiber and printmaking to mixed media, jewelry drawing and photography. All of these original items will be available for sale.
Many artists often take pictures of their original work before the work goes to the client. These photos often go to local print shops for duplicates for portfolios and other advertising.
The Children's Art Workshop area will have a free community mural with art supplies for guests to add their personal touches. An international food court will have something for everyone's taste and performing artists will be entertaining guests throughout both days.
Sponsor opportunities are available for local businesses to get their brands out to the public by supporting specific activities or sponsoring the event as a whole.
Sponsors sometime get a little banner printing done beforehand to have banners to display at events such as this.
The Norwalk Art Festival will take place Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22nd at Mathews Park, 295 West Avenue. Parking will be free.
