What's Happening in Norwalk, CT…

Norwalk goes a-haunting

October calendars tell us it is time to get out our flashlights, grab a friend, and head out to A Haunting at Mill Hill - Norwalk Historical Society’s 7th annual Halloween event. The tours are suitable for children ages eight and up.

The one-hour lantern-lit tours will take brave guests through an old graveyard where ghosts will rise up and tell their tales based on Norwalk’s eerie past. Among these apparitions will be a mutilated WW1 flying ace.

After the tours, guests will receive light refreshments in the Little Red School House - a 1826 one-room school house. Guests are then encouraged to go through the new historic haunted maze and attempt to find a way out.

All proceeds from this event will be benefiting the Norwalk Historical Society’s programs and services.

The Haunting at Mill Hill will be taking place on October 14, 20, and 21 at Mill Hill Historic Park, 2 East Wall Street, Norwalk. Saturdays’ tours will be at 6:00 pm, 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm and Friday tours will be at 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm. Tickets are $18 for teens and adults and $12 for kids ages 8 to 12.

Should the weather become a problem, the walks will be suspended, and groups will be taken indoors at the Town House at Mill Hill, where the spirits will relate their tales.
