Norwalk children can view real reindeer and meet Santa
The opening day for the 8th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival and Santa’s Village is only a couple of weeks away. This is a chance for children to meet live reindeer and discuss their Christmas lists with Santa.
Dasher, Dancer, and Prancer will be coming to the temporary home of ‘North Street’s North Pole’. They will remain for four weeks at Santa’s Village until December 23, when they will go home to Reindeer Stables. Little ones may want to want to see the reindeer at the deer’s morning or afternoon feeding times.
The deer will arrive and Santa will be waiting for them at the ‘We’re Back Party’. He will be visiting children as they enjoy face painting, a balloon artist, and special refreshments. Photos taken with the Jolly Old Elf can be made into this year’s holiday cards. Photo packets will include a gift bag of promotional products and coupons from local stores.
Norwalk children may also enjoy the North Pole Polar Express Train and the Winter Wonderland Carousel.
The Festival will begin with the ‘We’re Back Party’ which will be November 25 beginning at 12:00 pm at the Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses, 437 North Street, in nearby Greenwich. Parking will be free. The reindeer feeding times will be 9:00 am and 3:30 pm daily.
