Greenwich is now home to the first location of Van Leeuwen Ice Cream in the state.
Such stores can advertise their arrival in a new state with Promotional Products and other special offers.
The shop will be on Greenwich Avenue and be open from noon to 11:00 pm on weekdays, and from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm on weekends. Treats can be enjoyed at the shop or are available for delivery and takeout.
There are more than 30 signature flavors at the shop, including pistachio made with nuts from Italy, Earl Grey tea, honeycomb, and marionberry cheesecake made with berries ripened on the vine from a farm in Oregon. The shop also offers handmade ice cream sandwiches, custom sundaes, milkshakes, and root beer floats.
Van Leeuwen also offers a wide variety of vegan flavors made with cashew and oak milk, which include strawberry shortcake, and churros and fudge. Seasonal specials for the fall such as dark chocolate vegan pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake will be available until the end of November.
Van Leeuwen Ice Cream was founded in 2008 as a truck offering scoops of ice cream on the streets of New York City. There are now 33 of the company’s shops nationwide and the ice cream can be bought at many grocery stores around the country.
