Stationery printers are often called upon when such moves occur as new Letterheads, Business Cards, and other corporate materials need to be printed.
The Garden Conservancy was founded in 1989 by Francis H. Cabot, and its mission is to protect gardens of design, historical, and horticultural significance. Fred Landman, a member of the board of the Garden Conservatory, owns the Sleepy Cat Farm, which is a private residence, working farm and garden that spans 13 acres. This move will enable the Sleepy Cat Farm in Greenwich to eventually become the permanent home for the Conservatory.
This new headquarters will provide 25 percent more office space. The president and CEO of The Garden Conservancy, James Brayton-Hall said:
“As the Garden Conservancy approaches a new chapter of growth, strengthening our ties to Sleepy Cat Farm will make our mission of garden preservation more visible.”
He expressed his gratitude to Landman and his wife for this donation of land which will give his organization its home for the future and enable the preservation of Sleepy Cat Farm.
He said that there are 22 people working at the Conservancy. The goal in the new location will enable the organization to increase its programming with more presentations, tours, and lectures.
The Garden Conservatory plans to open sometime this month.
