Leader appointed at school in Greenwich

The Eagle Hill School in Greenwich now has a new Head of School.

Gretchen Larkin was appointed after an extensive search during which many candidates who were highly qualified from across the United States were interviewed. The Board of Trustees unanimously voted to appoint Larkin for this position.

Such appointments often call for business card printing services.

The Board said that when Larkin visited the campus, she demonstrated that she was an engaging and dynamic leader and communicated excellently. She also demonstrated her commitment to the mission of the school when she spent time with members of the community and given her professional and personal experiences. The Board is looking forward to working with Larkin to continue the tradition of the school as a leader in education for children with language-based learning differences.

Larkin has been the Head of School at Charles River School in Dover, Massachusetts for the past seven years, during which time she increased enrollment, oversaw a comprehensive strategic plan, led a capital campaign of $10 million, and reduced attrition. She worked closely with the school’s board to create a new model for multiple ages for delivering early childhood to the school and led a best practice governance campaign.

Eagle Hill is a co-educational, independent five-day boarding and day school for children between the ages of 5 and 15. It currently has a student population of 250.
