Healthy alternative for breakfast and lunch to open in Greenwich

The Granola Bar, based in Westport, recently announced that it will be opening a second location in Greenwich early next year.

Dana Noorily of Westport and Julie Levitt of Weston, who are the owners of the eatery, opened the Westport restaurant in 2013 and now will bring their breakfast and lunch items, which are locally sourced to Greenwich.

Noorily commented that the duo is looking forward to sharing their signature and modern dishes with those in Greenwich and the neighboring communities. Levitt added that they use only local and organic ingredients of the highest quality and feel their new restaurant will enhance the options for breakfast and lunch with healthier choices.

Some of their specialty items include The Dana, with three egg whites, spinach, avocado, and turkey bacon on a whole wheat wrap; house-cured salmon; salads that are freshly made; and Toby’s Estate coffee and signature smoothies.

The restaurant will be 2,700 square feet in size and will have both a large take-out section and extensive seating. The location will also offer catering for corporate and private parties, and will deliver coffee and baked goods to local businesses. Menus for these options will most likely be printed with the help of local Print companies.

It will be open seven days a week, with hours Monday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.
