There are now three new officers in the Greenwich Police Department (GPD), boasting many years of experience with other agencies.
Chester Indiviglio and Andrew Buzzetta were previously with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) while Amanda Cavaseno has been with the police department in Arlington, Texas. Chief of the GPD, James Heavy, said all three have a great deal of experience in law enforcement and bring their strengths to the department.
Indiviglio worked at the NYPD as a sergeant, detective, and officer, based in Brooklyn for 21 years. He has extensive training in narcotics, housing, and transit, and has earned medals for exceptional and meritorious police duty. Buzzetta received a bachelor’s degree from Iona College in New Rochelle and worked for the NYPD for five years in special operations and patrol services.
Cavaseno spent her years as a police officer in Arlington, Texas and in 2018 was named as Officer of the Month. She is also a member of the United States Army Reserves. More details about the background of such new officers are often made available with local printing services.
GPD Chief James Heavy said it was a rigorous process to select these new officers. Measures that were part of the appointment process included a physical/agility assessment, a written test, psychological testing, an interview with the department, and a polygraph exam.
