Festive evening to come to Greenwich

A special holiday festival is being held tomorrow by the Greenwich Historical Society this month.

A wreathmaking workshop will begin the day. At the workshop, participants will create personalized and distinctive wreaths from a selection of decorations. Red Flower Truck is sponsoring this event which starts at 9:30 am. All evening will be the Festival of Trees, all uniquely decorated, that can be purchased or bid on through a silent auction.

Banner printing is often used by organizers of such events to promote them throughout a town.

The Holiday Festival Family Night will start at 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, there will be gingerbread decorating and crafts for kids of all ages. Black Forest Bakery in Greenwich will be providing gingerbread men that will enable participants to take their creativity to a new level.

Jonathan Kruk will be presenting “A Christmas Story” as a one-man show in the Barn. Using an imaginative blend of storytelling and theater, Kruk will entertain audiences in Dickensian garb performing dialogue and vignettes from the popular tale. There will also be a holiday singalong hosted by Tom McCoy with performances at 4:45 and 6:00 pm.

Beginning at 4:00 pm. will be candlelight holiday tours of the Bush-Holley House running every 15 minutes. The Wonderland Tents will be hosting sweets and treats, s’mores, and festive drinks throughout the festival.

The festival will be held tomorrow, Friday, December 3.
