Danbury readies for annual tree festival

Ann's Place is gearing up to bring its annual Festival of Trees to Danbury in mid-November.

The festival is looking for local individuals, clubs, associations and businesses to donate decorated Christmas trees and creations. Those who donate trees and decorations under three feet tall will receive two festival passes and those who donate trees over three feet tall will receive four passes.

The deadline for this year's entries will be November 1st and will close earlier if donations top 150 trees. Trees are due at the site on November 9th and 10th from noon to 6:00 pm.

A Friday Night Sip, Stroll and Shop will take place Friday, November 21st from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This will be an early shopping experience where artisans will be selling handmade gifts. The $20 tickets will include nibbles and one free drink, one raffle ticket and early entrance to the festival.

Along with the tree and decorations' sale, the event will also hold a grand raffle and a Children's Winter Village.

Festival of Trees supports Ann's Place and its mission to aid local families dealing with cancer.

People who support charity events like this often get some flyer and/or poster printing done and place the Flyers and Posters around town.

Festival of Trees will run from November 21st though the 23rd at the Summit at Danbury, 100 Reserve Road.
