This announcement comes after the company and the city worked together to ensure that the facility’s purpose will be for the storage and receiving of raw materials, which will strengthen the operations of the company and support its ongoing expansion in the city.
The facility spans 96,000 square feet. It is expected that 15 extra jobs will be created by this lease. Over 650 people are already employed by the company throughout the region. This facility also ensures that the company will be able to expand as it grows. LesserEvil produces healthy and sustainable snack items.

Chief Executive Officer of LesserEvil, Charles Coristine, said that for quite some time the company has been seeking additional space in Danbury and expressed his excitement that such space was found just a short distance from their headquarters. He added:
“Danbury has been our home for the past 15 years, and signing this long-term lease reflects our continued commitment to the city, our team members, and the families who have helped build LesserEvil into what it is today.”
