Local ice hockey team Danbury Hat Tricks will be joining the City of Danbury to present Great to Live in Danbury Night in late January.
The event has been organized to celebrate the uniqueness of Danbury and to recognize our local first responders, educators, business leaders, and others who have made outstanding contributions to the community. The experience will blend the thrill of professional hockey with community spirit.
The event will honor distinguished community member in an on-ice ceremony. Those recognized during the ceremony will receive free tickets to the evening for them and their families. Local philanthropic organizations and businesses will have displays set up on the concourse featuring their services and missions. Family-friendly fun will include giveaways and games. Danbury's Mayor Roberto L. Alves will address the crowd, drop a ceremonial puck and participate in the game's webcast afterward.

A special $10 rate can be purchased using the code DANBURY for Danbury residents and workers. Some of the proceeds will go to the Connecticut Education Foundation.
Great to Live in Danbury Night will take place on Saturday, January 25 before the Hat Tricks face the Watertown Wolves beginning at 7:00 pm at the Danbury Ice Arena, 1 Independence Way.
