June will be a busy month for Downtown Danbury with the annual Danbury Street Festival followed by the Annual Danbury Juneteenth Cultural Celebration and Summer Concert.
CityCenter Danbury will hold its "Summer 2026 In the City " pedestrian-only festival along Main Street between West Steet and White Street. The free event will have a kids' zone and feature more than 50 vendors, artisans, crafters and local small businesses selling their goods and services.
Small businesses that buy booth space at evens like this usually bring a few Promotional Products such as Mugs, visors and promotional Pens to pass out to passers-by.
Guests will be treated to culinary delights such as hot dogs, BBQ, tacos, and deserts.
The three stages - one at Ives Bank, one at the Sculpture Garden and one at the post office - will have continuous live music performances beginning at noon.
This year's Danbury Street Festival will take place Saturday, June 13th from noon to 6:00 pm.
The Annual Danbury Juneteenth Cultural Celebration and Summer Concert will follow a few days later.
The celebration will run from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm with educational moments, family friendly activities, vendors, cultural engagements, community reflections and commemorative programming, followed by a half-hour intermission and the annual summer concert running from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday June 19th.
Gold sponsors will need to get their information to the event organizers before any banner printing for the Main Stage gets underway.
