Presented by the Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut, the annual Regional YMCA Annual Golf Tournament will be coming to Danbury in mid-May.
The format will be an efficiently paced, team-friendly scramble with a 1:00 pm shotgun start. Registration is $300 per individual, $250 for Regional YMCA members, and $1,100 for foursomes. These fees will include carts, 18 holes of golf, lunch, a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, access to the actions raffle, and awards. Raffle tickets are two for $10, six for $25, 16 for $50, and 32 for $100.
Guests may arrive between 11:00 am and 11:30 am, register and have lunch from 11:30 am to 12:45 am, and begin play at 1:00 pm. The cocktail hour, raffle, awards, and auction will take place after play from 6:00 pm on. Proceeds will help the YMCA Summer Camp offer financial assistance to those children who need it.
Major sponsorships begin at $1,800 and go up to $6,000. Lesser sponsor options include hole-in-one prize ($1,000), golf cart, bar cart, and prize ($750 each), golf ball ($600), program booklet ads ($250 and $500), and tee Signs ($100 for one or $175 for two).
Large golf tournaments like this often hire Print shops and their banner printing services well in advance for Banners to be placed at the start and finish line.
This year's Regional YMCA Annual Golf Tournament will take place at Richter Park Golf Course, 100 Aunt Hack Road on Wednesday, May 13 from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm.
