Festival fans in Danbury will be spending time at two upcoming Italian festivals.
Guests at The Amerigo Vespucci Annual Italian Festival will experience Italian culture through authentic cuisine including peppers and sausage, chicken parmigiana, eggplant, cannoli, zeppole (Italian doughnuts), and gelato.
On Friday night, entertainment will be provided by Carozza Entertainment. Saturday night’s act will be Charlie P and Maureen, on Sunday afternoon, guests will be treated to Joey Autuoro and Ella Cristina. The festivities will culminate with fireworks on Saturday evening.
The Amerigo Vespucci Annual Italian Festival will run on Friday, July 31 from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm; Saturday, August 1 from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm; and Sunday, August 2 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Amerigo Vespucci, 10 Christopher Columbus Avenue.
Inspired by the same country, the 2026 Danbury San Gennaro Italian Festival will be five days of live music, family fun, and authentic Italian food. There will be amusement rides, artisanal pop-up shops, fireworks, and laser light shows.
These festivities will be from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm on August 19 to 21; from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Saturday, August 22; and on Sunday, August 23 from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm on the CenterCity Green at 1 Ives Street.
