Pets and their owners are invited to attend Pets in the Park Danbury 2025, coming in mid-October.
Well-dressed may enter the Parade of Pets Costume Contest beginning at 3:00 pm. Proud owners often take pictures of their winning pets to nearby Print shops for duplicate Copies that are then mailed to relatives.
Happy Cheeks will be offering free face painting, and Jesse's New Ice Cream truck will be scooping handmade ice cream, while StreetSide Hog Dog will be selling hot dogs with toppings, snacks, cookies, drinks, and whole pickles.
Animals will be up for adoption, and animal-themed items and services will be for sale from local vendors. Crafters and artisans will be selling their handmade original works, and many will be demonstrating their skills.
Admission will be $3 for everyone over 12 years of age. Some of the proceeds will go to a Danbury animal shelter. Parking will be free and Barkwell Pets has donated Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs for Dogs that will be handed out with admission.
This 8th Annual Pets in the Park Danbury will take place in Danbury Town Park (aka Candlewood Town Park) at 32 Hayestown Road from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 12.
