Construction is almost completed on a new location of Texas Roadhouse in Aurora. Texas Roadhouse, based in Louisville, Kentucky, is a casual dining restaurant chain that is the largest in the United States.
This new restaurant is in the parking lot of an existing Texas Roadhouse on East Iliff Avenue near Interstate 225. Establishments often rely on banner printing to inform the community of their new eateries. The new establishment will be larger than the current location with more parking and seating; the current location has been serving the community for 25 years.
Officials from the chain expressed their excitement that they would be able to accommodate more guests and have more places to park. Once all the furniture and other accoutrements have been moved over to the new restaurant, the existing restaurant will be de-branded. The lease for that establishment expires in July and the landlord will determine at that point what the future of the building will be.
There are 15 locations of Texas Roadhouse restaurants in Colorado. Sales of the steakhouse increased by 14.7 percent last year to $5.5 billion. It now has 664 restaurants across the country, having added 26 new locations last year. The success if Texas Roadhouse has resulted from pushing rapid expansion and keeping its prices below the rate of inflation.
The Aurora location is expected to open next month.
