A new exhibition about biodiversity in Peru is now open at the Aurora History Museum.
Titled “National Reserves of Peru: Biodiversity & Landscapes,” the exhibit features photographs that highlight the rich ecological regions of Peru that attract visitors to see its diverse wildlife and landscapes, and to gain insight into the communities that inhabit these cherished spaces. Two centuries of diplomatic relations between the United States and Peru are also celebrated with this exhibit, as it is presented in partnership with Aurora’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs and the Consulate General of Peru in Denver.
Residents and visitors can be informed of such new exhibits with flyer printing.
For 2026, the Aurora History Musuem has adjusted its hours. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, it is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Aurora Museum Foundation is providing financial support for the opening hours on Saturday.
A discounted fee has also been introduced. The new fee for admission is $1 for children and $5 for adults, with memberships available for organizations, individuals, and families. The expectation is that ongoing access to vibrant, culturally significant experiences for the community is ensured.
The exhibit will be at the museum through Saturday, March 7.
