Steak restaurant in Aurora moves to new site

Texas Roadhouse is now open in a new location in Aurora.

Previously located near Interstate 225 and East Iliff Avenue, where it had been operating for over 25 years, it is now on South Blackhawk Street in the same parking lot. Both the old location and the new restaurant are near the intersection of South Blackhawk Street and East Iliff Avenue.

Such sites often benefit from eye-catching banner printing to inform residents and visitors of their whereabouts and what they can offer to the community.

Officials from Texas Roadhouse said that the previous location had served the community and the eatery well over the past quarter century, but expressed their excitement about the new location being able to accommodate more guests, with more parking and seating. They added that the previous location will be “debranded” and the landlord will then determine the future of that site.

Texas Roadhouse has become the largest casual dining chain in the United States, surpassing Olive Garden in terms of sales across its 664 locations. Last year, its sales grew by close to 15% and the chain opened 26 new restaurants, an increase of 4.1%.

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Texas Roadhouse has been growing rapidly over the past few years, with steak being popular post-pandemic and the chain keeping prices below inflation.
