Aurora opens center for care of infants

The new infant care program of Balance Early Learning Academy (BELA) in Aurora is now available for registration.

This program will provide high-quality early preschool education to children between six weeks old to one year. A secure, safe, and enriching environment is provided by the Academy where children are supported by a team of quality caregivers so they can develop basic skills.

By creating this program, BELA is responding to the demand in the Aurora area for quality early education programs. In addition, programs that are provided by organizations such as BELA have shown that children have better educational outcomes later in life. NIH studies have found that these children are more likely to earn better grades and to attend college than those children who began their education in preschool or later.

The mandated child-teacher ratio is maintained to ensure all the needs of the children are met and they receive the necessary attention for their emotional health. BELA also has a kitchen space approved by the Health Department, so that meals can be prepared safely for children without cross contamination. The American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines are also followed at other spaces at the center for levels of light, noise, and stimulation.

Brochure printing is often used by such centers to highlight their features and benefits for children.
