Barbecue seafood eatery to come to Aurora
Blazin’ Bite will be moving into space on Iliff Avenue in Aurora
The eatery will be in the Iliff Commons shopping center in the Heather Ridge neighborhood, and will be among other retailers such as Great Clips, Beantree Coffee, and Panera Bread. It is owned by Bo Sun. Kaydee Van Deren, general manager of Blazin’ Bite, said that the restaurant will be the first of its kind, adding that the dining room walls are lined with LED screens to provide a unique experience.
The menu will be barbequed seafood paired with creative cocktails. There will also be shared plates from scallops to lobster and oysters. On the weekends there will be live entertainment with DJs and karaoke.
The restaurant is currently in the hiring process and looking for servers, hosts, and bartenders, as well as positions in the back of the house. Competitive wages will be offered with no pooling of tips, and training will be provided.
Local print shops can be helpful for promoting such new and unique restaurants. Flyers can be created with more information about menu items and other offerings, while posters can be used to keep the community informed about opening dates and grand opening events.
