The Cultural Affairs Commission of the city of Aurora is accepting applications for the Northwest Aurora Arts Grants for 2025.
Individual artists and organizations based in the Aurora Cultural Arts District or whose programming will significantly impact the district are invited to apply. The Aurora Cultural Arts District is in the northwest corner of the city. Boston Street bounds the district on the west, 13th Avenue on the south side, 16th Avenue on the north side, and Geneva Street on the east side.
The purpose of these grants is to help foster economic development in Original Aurora and in the Arts District by providing support of a financial nature to individuals and organizations who create and/pr encourage culture and arts programs and services within the district that will attract a wide range of people to the area. Those who are not in the district and are interested in such programs may want to partner with a venue within the district.

A virtual workshop will be held by the Cultural Affairs Commission on Wednesday November 6 from :30 to 8:30 p.m. to answer questions and provide more details about the application itself.
The deadline to apply for these grants is Sunday December 8 at 9:00 p.m.
