Women's group to hold retreat in West Sacramento

You Aspire Success (YAS) Queen will be organizing an afternoon retreat at the Sacramento Yacht Club in West Sacramento.

YAS Queen's LIVE with Intention is a program where women can enjoy a relaxing experience with their peers while learning beneficial life skills. The event will include a lesson on meditation and a workshop on how to set intentions for the new year. Attendees can participate in a sound bath, and lunch will be provided at the yacht club. Exclusive vendors will also be visiting the retreat for guests to browse. Alcoholic drinks can be bought from the club's cash bar.

Created in 2020, YAS Queen organizes enriching events for women. The founder of the organization was Dr. Gwen Angelica Agustin-Nodora, a woman who wanted to build a community of sisters and help girls grow. The executive director and director of communications for the group is Grace Agustin. The women's organization hosts all-inclusive retreats featuring activities like journaling and stargazing.

The event will be on Saturday, February 4 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Tickets to the women's retreat can be purchased in advance for $58 per person. Those who buy their tickets on February 4 itself must pay $72. Organizations in charge of empowering activities like this may use flyer printing to increase local awareness of their programs.
