Sneakers and art combine in West Sacramento
Drake’s Barn in West Sacramento will soon welcome a unique art event, SneakART, in which participants will be able to paint their own candles with a sneaker-themed twist.
For an entry fee of less than $40, participants can sign up for one of two start times to paint their candle kits in a self-guided session. The end result will be a sneaker-shaped candle customized to their preferences.
Those who sign up to attend the event, which lasts several hours outside the main painting sessions, will also be able to enjoy other non-structured activities as part of the festivities. For instance, there will be music, vendors, games, raffles, and music, all taking place in a family-friendly atmosphere appropriate for all ages. Food and drink will also be available, as well as shopping options from Sneaker Wax, boi. Candle, Kira Candles, and CREMEE.
Artistic events like this may choose to use stationery printers for making templates, instruction sheets or event signs.
