Throwback band takes stage in West Sacramento

Adam Aldama and the Aces is hosting a concert themed as Dancing Through the Decades coming to West Sacramento’s Drake’s The Barn this May.

The concert is the kickoff event for the West Sac Rhythm On The River series of shows held monthly this summer. There will be local food and beverage vendors, children’s activities and a Family Fun Zone as part of the festivities.

Formed in 2021 by its titular band leader, Adam Aldama and The Aces is a five-piece ensemble that specializes in everything from throwback hit songs spanning a variety of genres to tribute performances focusing on specific artists.

Old school hip-hop, pop, R&B, Top 40 hits, disco and 2000s hits are among the band’s most well-known repertoire. Artists such as Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson and Prince also serve as inspiration for Adam Aldama and The Aces’ tribute concerts.

There is some free parking on the street and in select lots; however, it is limited. People are encouraged to use a rideshare company, through a city partnership Via Rideshare, or use bicycles or public transport.

Concerts like these may choose to use flyer printing to create promotional Posters and Signs for vendors and merch tables.

Dancing Through the Decades, featuring Adam Aldama and the Aces, is performing on May 28 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm at Drake’s The Barn at 985 Riverfront St in West Sacramento.
