Unique food and music festival returns to West Sacramento
West Sacramento will once again host its annual Mediterranean Food and Music Festival this September.
People are invited to get immersed in the culture, melodies, art, and flavors of the Mediterranean. That includes Middle Eastern Greek delicacies, Italian food, and meals that range from savory to sweet. All are welcome to the public event, which is suitable for all ages.
Music, which will play all day during the festival, will be provided by the likes of the Grapevines, the Janho Brothers, and The Syncopating Sea-Monkeys.
Mirroring the setting of its namesake, the festival is nestled in a large garden featuring olive trees providing canopy coverage to the surrounding sidewalk, fruit trees, and grapevines.
The lineup for the event begins with a musical welcome, followed shortly thereafter by a performance from the River City High School Orchestra directed by Felicia Weatherly. Then it’s the vocal stylings of Gabriella Baba’s Trigonometry. There will also be a performance by the Serbian folk dance ensemble Bozur. A few more bands perform before the closing dance to finish off the festival.
Festivals like this may choose to use promotional pens for vendors to use as free giveaways to raise brand awareness with customers.
