Those in West Sacramento can participate in a family-friendly train ride in April offered by the River Fox Train.
The Easter Egg Express is a program where families can enjoy Easter-themed activities while riding a train. The experience will include an egg hunt, Easter Egg Bags, and games for children. Guests will get to ride in an open-air or enclosed train car to an exclusive lakeside park owned by the River Fox Train company. Attendees may also purchase food such as chicken skewers, hamburgers, and hotdogs while on the trip.
There are a few COVID-related policies the River Fox Train has implemented to help people stay safe during the Easter activity. All train cars will be sanitized, and staff members must put on face coverings. Guests have access to sanitation stations on the train. Those who participate in the event are also required to wear masks while riding the Easter Egg Express. Businesses like the River Fox Train can use banner printing to make large Signs that remind people to follow the venue’s current safety policies.
The Easter train activity will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from April 2 to April 17. The departure times for Saturday will be at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, while departure times for Sunday are at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm. Tickets will cost $49 for adults, $29 for children, and $10 for infants.
