West Sacramento to support local neighborhoods
The City of West Sacramento will organize a community event where volunteers can assist those living in the Bryte Broderick neighborhoods.
The Rock the Block Bryte Broderick Community Day is a two-day program that invites volunteers to assist locals needing critical home repairs. The event is a collaborative effort between the City of West Sacramento and the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento. Volunteers will also work alongside residents of the Bryte Broderick community on revitalization projects and landscape restorations. People can turn in suggestion forms to give the organizers project ideas for this year’s event.
Companies can show they support the community by becoming a sponsor for Rock the Block. Businesses may choose between five sponsorship tiers that cost between $1,000 and $25,000. All sponsors will get logo recognition on the program’s T-shirts, banners, and signs. Those who become a Community Revival Sponsor for $25,000 will be included in a video recap of the event and featured on yard signs throughout the neighborhood. Organizations that pay $5,000 or more will be acknowledged during the event’s ceremonies.
