Families can ride the River Fox Train in West Sacramento for a fun seasonal experience.
The Magical Christmas Train is a holiday event where families can participate in themed activities and pay a visit to Santa. Each ticket includes an hour-long ride on the train and a complimentary souvenir mug. Attendees will also be treated to hot cocoa and a cookie. Workers dressed as elves will hold singalongs to holiday classics and entertain passengers with elvish games. Guests are allowed to dress in pajamas for the train ride. Adults may purchase alcohol during the experience.
The River Fox Train is a company offering themed excursions along a ten-mile track in the countryside. The train was originally built by the Northern Electric Company in 1911. The company offers many types of experiences, such as the Murder Mystery Train, Boba Tea Train, and Pumpkin Patch Express. The train has multiple bathrooms available for passengers, and dogs are allowed to ride on select excursions. People can also rent two-person railbikes to use on the train tracks.
The Christmas train experience will be held from November 24th to December 23rd. General admission to the train will cost guests $59. Children two years old and younger may ride the train for $10. Passengers are asked to arrive at the station 30 minutes before their departure times.
