The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) will be organizing a digital athletic fundraiser this November in the community of West Sacramento.
Light The Night is a donation event where people compete to raise funds to help the LLS invest money into cancer research, and offer financial assistance to those in need. Those interested in participating in the virtual festival can go solo, create a team, or join an existing team. People can also help the organization by becoming volunteers for future public occasions. Organizers for fundraisers such as this can produce noticeable Flyers and Posters with printing services to market the activity.
The main mission of the LLS is to cure diseases like leukemia, lymphoma, and Hodgkin’s disease. The group has already invested over $1.3bn towards researching possible cures for these issues. The organization is the leading source of cancer-related information and support for patients, survivors, and family members. LLS also advocates for policy changes that benefit the organization at the state and federal levels.
Light The Night will occur on Saturday, November 7 and will begin at 7:00 pm. People who raise $100 and more for the LLS will be considered a Champion for Cures and will receive some benefits for their hard work. Those who wish to form teams are suggested to have at least 10 people in the group.
