West Sacramento to host Viking cultural celebration

The Norse Herb Company will organize a Viking-themed festival and market at the Broderick Roadhouse in West Sacramento.

Enchanted Yule is a festival where guests can explore an old-world market and experience Viking culture. Several vendors will sell handmade items at the fest, and Scandinavian food will be available to purchase at the venue. Guests can buy mead from the Broderick Roadhouse's bar and participate in ax throwing.

Sandra Fromm will provide musical entertainment at the event. She is an experienced harp player who specializes in Celtic music. Fromm has presented lectures on music from the Revolutionary Era and Scottish history, and her performances also include stories from places like Ireland and Scandinavia.

The Norse Herb Company is a business in Northern California that Shonda Honkanen created in 2019. People can buy customized herb smudges from the shop. Her store sells many types of crafted items, such as earrings, wall decorations, and crocheted Apparel. The company also hosts community events like The Attic Market.

The festival will be held on Saturday, December 2nd from noon to 7:00pm.
