West Sacramento to host beer tasting festival

Beer lovers in West Sacramento can attend an upcoming festival in March organized by Capitol Beer Fest.

Capitol Beer Fest 2021 is a tasting event where guests can experience different beers created by breweries from throughout the United States. Last year, the festival featured drinks from notable brewers such as the Alaskan Brewing Company, Dark Heart Brewing, and Mad River Brewing Company. There will be food trucks at the gathering and live music performances. All guests must be over 21 to enter the event.

Proceeds from the beer festival will go towards supporting the Runnin’ for Rhett Foundation. The organization’s mission is to inspire and uplift those who feel defeated through athletic events. Since 2010, the Runnin’ for Rhett Youth Fitness Program has trained over 30,000 children to participate in 5K races. The group also educates kids about proper nutrition and fitness. Charitable organizations like this can give Promotional Products to people to help increase awareness for their cause.

The beer tasting event is planned for Saturday, March 6 so long as county health regulations approve the festival. If the activity is canceled, Capitol Beer Fest will reschedule the event for Saturday, October 16. The program will last from noon to 4:00 pm. General admission will cost $45, and VIP tickets can be bought for $75. Those who are non-drinkers may enter the festival for $15.
