The River Walk Park in West Sacramento will be hosting a music festival in May to celebrate Mother's Day.
The Mother's Day Weekend Unity and Harmony Music Festival is a special event where people can listen to talented performers of the soul genre. Ten mothers who inspire the community will be honored during the Monique Nelson Most Outstanding Mothers Awards. There will also be a brunch held at the event. People can browse food vendors at the fest and visit on-site information booths to learn more about breast cancer, childcare, and other resources for families.
Many artists will be attending the music festival this year. The first day of the fest will feature groups such as the Temptations Review, The World Famous Intruders, and the Greg Hill Tribute of The Delfonics. The following concert will include performances from Foe Deep, Dee Dee Simon, and Les Franklin. The festival's grand finale will be a show by Keith Washington, a platinum recording star known for his romantic songs.
The Mother's Day music fest will be on Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14. Each day of the event will be held from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tickets for the concerts start at $30. People may purchase a weekend pass for $50, and those who want the VIP weekend experience may pay $60. Organizers for musical events like this may use flyer printing to promote their concerts.
