West Sacramento to entertain people with jazz fest

The Sacramento Yacht Club in West Sacramento will be organizing a jazz-themed festival in July.

The 3rd Annual Jazz Fest by the River is an event where people can listen to several live band performances on two different stages. The festival has returned in 2021 with groups such as the West End Stompers, Gator Nation, and Parker & the Weis Guys. Each venue will have a dance floor for guests to use and will sell food and alcoholic beverages. Clubs that organize activities like this can work with Print shops to make advertisements for the concert.

The Sacramento Yacht Club was officially founded in 1947 and currently has enough space to accommodate more than 100 boats. The organization hosts many events, including Monday Night Football meals, Happy Hours, and themed river cruises with other members. Those interested in applying to the club must be sponsored by two members and attend one of the organization’s social functions. Boat ownership is not a requirement to enter the group.

The jazz festival will be held on Sunday, July 25 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. People who purchase their tickets by July 18th can pay $55. The cost of admission will increase to $65 after that date. Nearby hotels at which attendees can stay for the event include the Delta King Hotel and Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown Sacramento.
